The VTT focuses on organizational responses to work-related exposure to trauma. OVC developed the Vicarious Trauma Toolkit (VTT) on the premise that exposure to other people’s traumatic experiences, known as vicarious trauma, is an inevitable occupational challenge for the fields of victim services, emergency medical services, and fire services, law enforcement, and other allied professionals.
